Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki is seeking a PROFESSOR OF CHORAL CONDUCTING

The University of the Arts Helsinki fosters the tradition of Finnish art and serves as a starting point for future artists. The University of the Arts Helsinki launched at the beginning of 2013 upon the merging of the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts, Sibelius Academy, and Theatre Academy Helsinki. The total number of students is presently approximately 2,200, and there are 650 full-time equivalent personnel.

Sibelius Academy is responsible for providing the highest level of music education in Finland. The academy trains artists, teachers, and other music professionals skilled in independent artistic work.

Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki is seeking a

PROFESSOR OF CHORAL CONDUCTING

The post will be filled for a fixed term of five years, from 1 August 2014 to 31 July 2019 or, if agreed, starting from a later date.
