Conductors Without Borders (CWB) Continues its Mission in Africa

Thierry Thiébaut, CWB Coordinator for Africa, and Agnès Brosset, certified vocal technique teacher (France) presented another CWB session in Kinshasa, DR Congo, April 8-13. Special thanks to the hosting organisation, the vocal ensemble Bel Canto. Read the report in French.

This year, Sing for Pleasure joined IFCM in its effort to develop CWB in Africa. It was after a meeting between Manvinder Rattan, CEO and Head of Conductor Training at Sing for Pleasure, and Ken Wakia, IFCM member and former singer and conductor of the World Youth Choir, that Sing for Pleasureproposed its first-ever conducting course in Africa. With the support of the IFCM CWB program, the course was offered in Nairobi, Kenya, March 18-29, 2019. Read more about this fruitful cooperation in Manvinder Rattan’s report
