In 2019, World Choral Day was celebrated on the second Sunday of December.
In addition to recognizing choral concerts on 8 December 2019, choirs were given the opportunity to register any choral events which took place during the entire month of December, creating a stronger and more visible presence of the project globally. In total, 344 choral events in 67 countries were registered.
This is the highest representation of countries in the history of the project. In order to maintain a focus on this IFCM initiative, photos and videos from World Choral Day 2019 concerts continue to be featured on the World Choral Day 2019 Facebook page.
