IFCM welcomes a new member in the category National Organization: Music at the End of the World Foundation, Ushuaia, Argentina

Music at the End of the World Foundation was founded in 2012 to provide an institutional framework for the Coro del Fin del Mundo. From its beginning, the foundation has promoted intensive, high-quality musical activities in the region and has been instrumental in creating the Ensamble del Fin del Mundo, Coral Makus, Coro de Niños del Fin del Mundo, and the Voces del Fuego choir. Since 2019, it has been organizing the End of the World Choir Festival, aiming to foster artistic and pedagogical excellence. In 2021, the foundation achieved the enactment of Provincial Law No. 1363 (Promotion of Choral Activity) for the development of local choirs. Since its inception, it has been working towards the creation of the first School of Music in Tierra del Fuego.

The End of the World Choir Festival is a four-day event featuring concerts, workshops, lectures, and discussion forums under a specific theme that makes each edition unique. It takes place in Ushuaia both in-person and online, with professional live streaming that connects the world to a high-quality artistic and touristic experience.
