Daniel Reuss, internationally-renowned conductor (Capella Amsterdam, Rias kammerchor, Ensemble vocal de Lausanne) will be the artistic director, with a program including composers from all over Europe (Vaughan-Williams, Vasks, Ligeti, Schnittke, Martin), traditional repertoire, and a world première.
The session will be hosted by the Federació Catalana d’Entitats Corals (FCEC). The rehearsal session will be in Catalonia and the concert tour will be in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Alcala de Henares) and France, including performances at Festival de Prades Pablo Casals and Choralies in Vaison-la-Romaine.
The choir will be composed of 64 young singers (ages 18-26) from all over the world who are interested in improving their choral singing skills and are passionate, experienced, high-level choral singers or soloists. For application information, see here.
