Ansan City Choir (South Korea)
The world-renowned Ansan City Choir of South Korea is a professional ensemble of 47 members with a distinguished history spanning more than 30 years since its founding. Renowned for its exceptional artistry, the choir delivers deeply moving performances that further showcase the artistic excellence of the Republic of Korea.
Under the leadership of its new conductor and composer, Dr. Jihoon Park, the choir has introduced an innovative choral style that has made a powerful impact on both the Korean and international choral scenes. Spanning repertoire from Renaissance choral works to 21st-century contemporary music, the Ansan City Choir is celebrated for its rich, refined sound and its mastery of diverse choral genres. In addition, the choir continues to take bold, creative steps by exploring interdisciplinary collaborations that blend choral music with other art forms.
