Applications are OPEN for the 2027 International Choral q̓at̓ᶿaymɩxʷ (Kathaumixw)- a world-recognized biennial choir festival taking place July 5-10, 2027, in Powell River, located in the stunning qathet Region on British Columbia’s Sunshine Coast, Canada.
Founded in 1984 and entering its 21st edition, q̓at̓ᶿaymɩxʷ (Kathaumixw) is internationally acclaimed for its artistic excellence, cultural exchange, and uniquely welcoming spirit. The most recent festival brought together choirs from New Zealand, Taiwan, Slovenia, Costa Rica, the Philippines, and across Canada and the United States.
