Choir of the Earth Events, in collaboration with Concerts-Austria, presents a special one-time choral project outside the UK: Come and Sing Bach in Leipzig.
In September and October 2026, singers are invited to follow in the footsteps of Johann Sebastian Bach, rehearsing and performing his music in Leipzig — the city where he lived, worked, and composed.
The programme includes a full-scale, baroque-pitch performance, accompanied by a professional baroque orchestra and led by world-class conductor Ben England BEM.
The concert takes place in the historic St Nicholas Church, where Bach himself once directed music. Further highlights include dinner at Auerbachs Keller, a guided classical music city tour, a private organ demonstration at the Thomaskirche, and the unique opportunity to sing parts of the programme in front of the Thomaskirche, next to the monument of J. S. Bach.
