The 12th World Symposium on Choral Music (WSCM) will be held in Auckland, New Zealand, July 11-18, 2020. The flagship global choral event of the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM), this festival/congress is an extraordinary venue for showcasing the most extraordinary choirs of the world.
The WSCM2020 theme, People and the Land – the connection and tensions between people and land, between urban life and the nature world, provides a perfect framework for choirs from all over the world to share their stories, identities, beliefs, and traditions. Take your choir to learn with and from tangata whenua (literally “people of the land”).
The deadline for applications (choirs and presenters) is October 31, 2018.
IFCM International Online Cafes are open to everyone! Recordings are available to IFCM members only.
