Summary of the 2018 World Choral Day Survey
Published: Mar 27,2019

In 2018 we celebrated one of the most special editions of World Choral Day throughout the past 28 years. Thanks to the 100th anniversary of the ending of WWI in 2018, the timeframe of 2018 World Choral Day was extended for more than a month, something that never happened previously. In addition, the project was raised to another level in terms of communication & design. This marketing effort resulted in a record number of events registered and the most countries represented ever (view 2018 World Choral Day Report). In order to learn from the experiences of the last few years, a short survey was developed for choral singers, conductors, concert, and festival and event organizers. Within 20 days, several hundred individuals responded with their personal thoughts and feelings. This valuable feedback will assist in the successful preparation and delivery of upcoming World Choral Day celebrations.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you everyone who completed the survey for your contribution!
