IFCM Choral Composition award-winning piece Nur by Juan Manuel Conejo was premiered in Ankara, Turkey by the Turkish State Choir under the direction of Josep Vila i Casanas on 25th January 2020 and with the introduction and presentation by IFCM Vice President Gábor Móczár and IFCM Board Member Burak Onur Erdem. Renowned conductor Josep Vila i Casanas was a guest to the Turkish State Choir for a concert on Iberian repertoire and a masterclass on choral conducting. The concert was held in a full house in the Presidential Symphony Hall, where the choir premiered not only Conejo's piece but also did a Turkish premiere of Josep Vila's Gloria. The masterclass being an important milestone of Turkish choral development of the past decade was organised by Burak Onur Erdem and it was visited by 44 conductors from 16 cities in Turkey and 3 countries in Europe (Estonia, Austria and Scotland).
