Musica International, a multimedia, multilingual, collaborative database of choral repertoire, will completely open its website with unrestricted full privileged access to all visitors, without even needing to login, during the World Choral Day, on 12-13 December. Simply click here.
Approximately 200,000 scores are described in detail in Musica International, many including an image of the score, a sound-clip or a video, the text and its translation in different languages, and the pronunciation of the text by a native speaker. This extraordinary resource is ideal for developing a concert program according to a theme or purely for fun, by visiting the ‘auditorium’ and browsing through the ‘favorite piece of the month’ since 1998.
Normally (outside the special World Choral Day offer), it is necessary to create an account with a login in order to access the documentary data of the database. The basic account is free but will have some limitations. Full access to all the features of the database is available by either making a donation or by using a global privileged access offered by the many federations which provide their members with this advantage through their own websites.
Official magazine of the International Federation for Choral Music, the International Choral Magazine is published quarterly in the four official languages of IFCM: English, French, German and Spanish. It is distributed in more than 80 countries on the five continents and is the official voice of choral music around the world.
