Many of you may have already noticed our new logo as it has been used in the distribution of 2022 IFCM membership cards. (By the way, don’t forget to renew your IFCM membership this year. More than ever, your support is highly appreciated!) Indeed, for its 40th anniversary, IFCM has a brand new look and a brand new logo!
Following the decision by the IFCM Board to rebrand on the occasion of our 40th anniversary, the logo project was awarded to Web Digitizer doo, a Serbian company selected amongst others for their creativity and flexibility. The rebranding specifications included consistency between the main IFCM logo and the logos of various IFCM projects: Conductors Without Borders, World Choral EXPO, and World Choral Day. The design created by Web Digitizer doo incorporates elements from previous IFCM project logos as well as the primary colors of the earlier IFCM logo to acknowledge and celebrate the continuation of 40-year commitment by IFCM to the international choral community. At the same time, the logo provides a fresh symbol for new possibilities, innovative projects and meaningful connections.
40 years of IFCM... and as many years of the International Choral Bulletin. From the black and white two-page bulletin to the 80-page magazine in four languages, it is time to change the name of your favourite IFCM publication. Beginning with the April 2022 issue, you will receive the quarterly IFCM International Choral Magazine in your inbox, as full of inspiration from the choral world as usual.
