In 2021, the popular choral festivals organized by the Japan Choral Association (JCA) were held online. They are now viewable on JCA’s YouTube channel. The Men’s Chorus Festival, JCA’s popular biennial event which was held virtually for the first time this year, gathered 1,100 singers from 29 choirs during the 3-day event. The Mothers’ Chorus Festival, recognized for its creativity and uniqueness of ‘mothers’ choirs from all over Japan, also had 1,100 singers from 50 choirs during the 4-day program. The performances were streamlined on the same dates as live events, along with review comments by renowned musicians from different fields. We proudly invite all the choral lovers in the global community to enjoy the colorful performances and share the enthusiasm and joy of choral music with the singers!
