In the framework of World Choral EXPO 2022, IFCM has created a program for young choral managers. YOUNG Youth International Management Program aims to give ten selected young individuals from all over the world an opportunity to learn and expand their knowledge and skills in the international cultural field by working closely with the WCE organizing team. The ten selected YOUNGs will come to Lisbon and have an opportunity to learn on the spot what is needed to organize an international festival.

On 9 June 2022, the YOUNGs 2022 met online for the first time. These young choral leaders are the selected participants of IFCM’s Youth International Cultural Management program. This first meeting was organized to provide the opportunity for the YOUNGs to meet each other and the IFCM staff members. In addition to meeting IFCM’s Office Manager, Secretary General, ICM editor, and Communication Manager, they had the opportunity to meet President Emily Kuo Vong who warmly thanked the YOUNGs for their future commitment to the World Choral EXPO. This meeting aimed to inform the YOUNGs about the different projects of IFCM; to present the objectives, missions, and goals of the Federation in general; and to give them more details on their upcoming program.

It is distributed in more than 80 countries on the five continents and is the official voice of choral music around the world.
