Sing Furusato (Hometown) in Ukrainian and Japanese!

The sheet music of Furusato (Hometown), newly arranged by composer Takatomi Nobunaga, is available to download for free! Furusato is one of the best-known traditional songs in Japan, singing nostalgically for rural hometown. This touching song was arranged by Nobunaga with the belief that those of us who love music should come together even when nations are at war. It was premiered by the 11th JCA Youth Choir at Nagasaki Peace Park in March 2022 and was posted on IFCM’s World Choral Day website in response to the special 2022 World Choral Day theme - Sing for Peace.

The video can be viewed on YouTube and the sheet music is available as a free download, a gift from JCA. If you would like to access the version with Ukrainian lyric translated by Nataliya Gudzi, please contact us.
