Help shape the future of IFCM: Call for elections of the IFCM president, board and internal auditor
Based on IFCM’s Bylaws and Internal Membership Policies Document, our membership will have to elect a new president and board of directors in 2026. The elections will be held ONLINE, starting mid-June and ending on August 1st 2026. Members of IFCM in good standing, having paid their 2026 membership fee by the end of April, will be able to elect the president, up to 15 board members as well as the internal financial auditor. The current president cannot stand for elections again, and several board members have decided not to be candidates this year. If you want to help shape the future of IFCM, and you are and individual member or you are nominated by a memberchoir or a member organisation, you can be a candidate. Join the voting committee
If you want to be part of the voting committee that will be checking the results of the the online voting, you are an IFCM member in good standing and you are not intending to be a candidate yourself, please send a message to office@ifmc.net. You will then be invited to an online meeting after the online elections mid-August 2026.
Save the date: IFCM General Assembly in Macau on August 23
As usual, the General Assembly of IFCM will be held in connection with the World Symposium on Choral Music, on August 23 2026 in the afternoon in Macau, China. The official invitation will go out in May 2026.
