The association oversees the activities of several vocal ensembles, including children's choirs comprising three age groups (4-14 years), a women's choir, and a youth choir (18-25 years). The youth choir, Jeune Chœur de Guadeloupe, was originally founded by the Carib'Opera collective.

At its summer board meeting, IFCM Board of Directors approved a new name for its international conducting project: Conductors Beyond Borders (CBB). In view of the program’s many initiatives that facilitate connections between conductors from different geographical regions and/or between conductors and singers from neighboring countries, the new title is more appropriate and descriptive.
