Saeko Hasegawa, President of the Japan Choral Association, Former IFCM Vice-President and IFCM Board member (2002-2023), was awarded the Medal with Blue Ribbon by the Japanese government.
This medal is awarded to individuals who have made a big difference in areas of public interest and welfare. It was awarded to Ms. Hasegawa for the many years of her contributing to the development of choral music in Japan and around the world.
