ADICORA, the Association of Choir Conductors of the Argentine Republic. The Association of Choir Conductors of the Argentine Republic (ADICORA) was founded in 2003 and is composed of directors from across the country. It is organized into branches and delegations located in the Argentine provinces, with a federal and democratic vision built upon commitment, respect, and professionalism.

During the World Symposium on Choral Music 2023 in İstanbul, Jean Sturm, Executive Director of Musica International (www.musicanet.org), presented "Building a concert program using online choral resources: the Musica project". Interesting questions came up, such as "Can I search for sad pieces in Musica?" On Facebook, a choir conductor was looking for “a piece that would convey anxiety/worries”. Another conductor needed a happy song to end a middle-school choir concert.

The first online meeting of the YOUNG IFCM Youth Committee was an exciting and productive gathering of young choral music enthusiasts and professionals. The meeting took place on August 7, 2023, in an online format to accommodate the global nature of the committee members and ensure everyone's participation. The primary objectives of the meeting were to introduce the committee members to each other, discuss the committee's mission and goals, and outline the plan for upcoming projects and activities. The committee discussed and clarified their shared mission and goals, focusing on empowering and engaging youth in choral music activities and advocating for their inclusion and representation. The members collaboratively brainstormed and discussed potential projects and activities to be undertaken by the committee, and to ensure effective implementation of the projects, the members will allocate roles and responsibilities based on their interests, strengths, and expertise on the next meeting.

IFCM has organized five international choral composition competitions since this project was created in 2010. The aim of these competitions is to promote the creation and distribution of new, innovative, and accessible choral repertoire. The idea of creating an IFCM Youth Committee came after a successful program for young choral and cultural managers at the World Choral EXPO in 2022. Noticing the interest of these young participants for IFCM and recognizing the benefits that IFCM could gain from their feedback and vision, the IFCM Board of Directors decided to establish a YOUNG IFCM - youth committee.

The Asia Pacific Youth Choir session was held on from 16 to 23 July, 2023, in Penang Island, Malaysia, under the direction of Tracy Wong and Chi Hoe Mak. 31 young talented singers from China (2), Hong Kong SAR (1), Indonesia (11), Japan (3), Malaysia (9), The Philippines (1), Thailand (1), and Taiwan (3) joined together to sing, accompanying by a percussionist (former singer of APYC) from Singapore.

Musica International (www.musicanet.org), a multimedia collaborative database of the world’s choral repertoire, publishes a comprehensive list of all composers cited in Musica having a jubilee (100, 150, 200, 250 years, etc.) anniversary during the current year and the following three years. The mixed choir Junges Vokalensemble Hannover (JVH) performs choral music from all over the world. Down Under, the choir will focus on compositions by German composers e.g. Bach, Brahms, Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Rheinberger, and by the contemporary Australian composer Luke Byrne. In Germany Byrne has worked two times with JVH, furthermore, in 2023, he has written the commissioned work RAINFOREST for the choir. Concerts will be given in Rotorua, Auckland, Adelaide, Sydney, and Cairns. JVH will be conducted by Klaus-Jürgen Etzold.
